Ideally to a south facing roof although an east / west configuration can be used. Also on walls or free standing.

What about heating my swimming pool?

Answer:

Solar is very effective and sound investment for heating indoor / outdoor pools and can normally supply heating temperatures in the mid to high 20 degs C.

What are the costs?

Answer:

The investment you have to make really depends on the size of the system and your current situation. It will be different if you are building a new house, replacing your hot water system or simply adding a solar water system to an already existing heating system.

What are the savings?

Answer:

Apart from savings of up to 30% annually on your heating bill, savings will increase as the price of oil / gas / electricity increases. Solar also reduces the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions helping to protect the environment from being polluted. CO2 is one of the largest single contributors towards global warming.

Do I need planning permission?

Answer:

Normally no only if the building is in a conservation area / listed building or under construction - but you should check with your local planning office. Our panels are environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

We have a large office building - is there a suitable system?

Answer:

Solar systems can be custom design and integrated with your existing system to provide hot water throughout the building for showers / canteens etc in fact anywhere large quantities of  hot water will be used. i.e. hospitals / leisure centres and all commercial applications.
